BoxCreate is BoxMedia’s communications agency & creative studio arm, producing sustainability-related content for Apps, Social, Online, Print, Marketing & Advertising as well as Events. You are a highly organized and experienced Studio Manager. Your chief responsibility will be as the traffic manager and main point person for BoxMedia’s creative team. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience at a design or creative agency who can hit the ground running. 

You are a proactive professional and use your organizing skills to collaborate and facilitate a smooth workflow. You will be practiced at setting up robust processes and systems to keep the studio running effectively and talents thriving. 

You set the tone for the culture of any organisation you are a part of and are brimming with positive energy. 

You are able to self-motivate and work independently whilst being truly collaborative, open to receiving and giving feedback.  

You are obsessed with innovation and want to disrupt and improve the status quo across multiple creative media. 

We are looking for a creative and dedicated person who will fit with our proactive, curious and respectful culture with a keen eye for planning, collaboration, and team dynamics. 

You’ll be reporting to our Senior Producer. 

You’ll be expected to have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Studio Manager
  • Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills 
  • Experience managing creative teams across multiple deliverables simultaneously 
  • Experience handling creative assets across a variety of mediums (video, audio, graphic assets, animation, GIFs) with a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to solve problems and improve workflows 
  • Strong skills in resourcing and talent management, locating and hiring new staff where necessary
  • Familiarity with file formats and asset management systems (GDrive & Dropbox)
  • Familiarity with project management software (Asana) 
  • Experience in supporting production by tracking freelancer budgets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to cope with a fast-paced and pressured workplace 

Your role will include:

  • Managing the overall pipeline, team schedules and daily operations including balancing both internal and external marketing projects simultaneously 
  • Support for daily operations and ensuring deadlines are being met
  • Talent resourcing and staff management, securing freelance talent when needed
  • Leading staff onboarding and other team admin
  • Re-prioritising and troubleshooting where needed 
  • Consistent and great communication with internal teams
  • Close collaboration with and reporting to the Senior Producer
  • Inputting into budgets and tracking expenditure
  • Oversight of tracking systems: asset tracking, contact sheets & more 
  • Managing copyright and licensing systems in regards to stock images and video
  • Deliver results that meet and exceed expectations
